I work with some Brazilians, one of whom is deep into futbol.
Futbolās a lot like baseball - anything can happen, which makes it fun. He said based on this World Cup it could be expanded to 64 teams. There havenāt been any 8-0 blowouts, itās been a great tournament.

Was pulling for Norway, but it feels like just a matter of time until England breaks through.
Whether Iāll be awake to see it or not is a different question.

(laughs nervously) some of us failed our initial orthodontia. Thankfully for ne no headgear this time around, and no accompanying acne.
My dentist told me might upper teeth are spreading apart, while my bottom teeth are bunching together. Lovely.

My siblings all have gorgeous teeth. The orthodontist told me I would not be getting braces due to my bite. Iāve got snaggles. AKA British teeth

Even though I have more English heritage than Norwegian I was pulling for Norway. My majority Scottish and Irish heritage wonāt allow me to do anything but loathe my English side.

The officials had to immediately rectify Switzerland tying things up by finding a red card to give them. Argentina has to be in the final no matter what. FIFA is such a ridiculous, corrupt $#!tshow.

That red was deserved. That was an egregious flop, even for this game.

So after all the incredible drama, the amazing stories, and the insane games, the top four ranked teams coming into the tournament end up in the final four spots.
I didnāt get to turn this one on until late and only saw the highlight of the flop that drew the card. That was 100% yellow-card worthy, just sucks for that guy it happened to be his 2nd of the match.
I didnāt see what happened on his first. Was it deserved?

It was for a late challenge.. Iād say it was borderline. Debatable but not a terrible call at all IMO. No question the second one was a flop.. the issue I have is that those are rarely called, and never in that scenario, when a guyās on a yellow and so much is on the line.
I love the notion of the simulation rule but, like other things, all it does in practice is give the officials another tool to manipulate the outcome.
