What I’m watching

Anybody else here loving “Bosch-Legacy”? I can’t resist the series. Partly because it’s LA-based, and that takes me back to lots of memories from my time there; but also because I like well-written whodunits with good characters I can root for and excellent acting.

I contend that Extras brought us two of the funniest TV scenes ever. This is one of them.

Hear, Hear!

I didn’t have time to watch when this was first posted, but kept a bookmark, and finally watched it just now.

It was the best 40 minutes I’ve spent watching anything in months. Wonderful!

Thanks for posting.

Started watching “Gen V” last night, the college-age spinoff of “The Boys”.

It’s every bit as depraved, hilarious, gory, and poignant as the original show, which is one of - if not the best - show available right now. I was skeptical when it was first announced but have thoroughly enjoyed the first couple episodes.

Dark Winds (2 Seasons) Amazon Prime … one of my favorite TV shows in a long time. However I also loved the Hillerman books so there’s that. Just finished Season 2 this last week.

“Get Gotti”…I love any mafia related stuff and this documentary is fantastic.

About to wrap up “Suits.” It was a fun watch, though completely fictitious.

Watched “Get Gotti” too. I had family living in New York at that time who said (like Vegas) the mob ran the town.

Finished Gen V last night and was thoroughly entertained. A very solid addition to The Boys universe.

I enjoyed the sex and violence a la muppet.

I’m in NYC for 10 days and saw three shows yesterday and a tour of the Wicked set etc. Best part of the day was Patrick Page doing his show finally in NYC. I think this is online somewhere and brilliant for any fans of Shakespearean discussions:

He was kind and discussed how to approach learning Shakespeare with my 9th grade daughter. He has some great points for English teachers how to make it interesting. His voice is perfect for this material

Watched this tonight. Made me want to send the entire 1984 leadership team of Union Carbide to prison for mass murder. I still remember the photos of this in Time and Newsweek.

I might find myself singing the song from this one we watch tonight on July 1.

I know it wasn’t a perfect adaptation (that’d be impossible, really), but I thought HHGttG was very fun.

Saw the new off Broadway juke box musical by Alecia Keys. Solid musical 9/10 and the cast is off the charts. So much talent. I had issue with act two but the daughter loved it.
