This one is interesting. Muhammad, UW’s best DB last season, is transferring to Oregon.

This dude has done I shed info. Based on a prior tweet of a waiving hand it feels like bad news.

Not sure what this refers to? I only see dominos falling.
They’re pretty dominos.
He tends to vague post a lot.
This one seems a bit too vague to even bother posting.
Source: Utah center Koli Faaiu plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal. He started eight games at center for the Utes.

I can only assume that someone is beating him for a starting job. I don’t know anything for certain though, just assuming because otherwise it doesn’t make much sense.
Colorad9 will be shedding a number of players.
Colorado will feast on some cupcakes, then get rolled just like last season.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
I’m not sure what you mean by serious.
In an attempt to right things in their football program, i.e., get wins, the university handed the reins to a celebrity narcissist.
This is often the way such people run their businesses.
Deion is not a coach. He’s more of a game-show host.
I love that imagery, Chuck Woolery in gold chains.
Or is the college football season more like a season of Big Brother - Julie Chen Moonves?
That’s exactly why I’ve never understood all the breathless hype about how he’s going to “turn Colorado around”. I have yet to see anything that indicates that he is actually a good football coach.
A great hype man? Absolutely.
A good recruiter? Seems so, although retaining those players seems to be an ongoing issue.
A good leader? Possibly.
A good motivator? Probably.
But a good coach who understands the X’s and O’s and can create a gameplan for consistent success at the P5 level? There is zero indication of that so far.
You’d think with all the strengths you mention that the plan would be to surround him with assistants who do understand these things.
Problem being, do people who would be good at those things want to deal with the game show stuff?
Good question. People will deal with a lot of things, given the right amount of money and chance for building a resume. This ain’t D-III where folks do it for the pleasure of the game and for the kids and all that nonsense. ![]()
I wonder if some of this is the consequence of perceived or real preferential treatment of sons over other players.
Utah landed Damien Alford a 6’6” senior to be WR FROM Syracuse. He led Syracuse in receiving a year ago.
