I couldn’t wait, so I went to the official OSU website and bought top-tier tickets for $270 each. These seats are described as being chairback seats between the 40 yard line and the goal line. No indication of how many rows up they are. I kind of feel bad that our red will blend in with the enemy red. At least the sun won’t be in our eyes and we’ll get to look across the stadium at all of you.
I guess the OSU Athletics Ticket Office isn’t any better organized than ours is. I got an email from them stating, “Your Purchase Was Successful” with a total charge of $810.
When I click the tab “Manage Tickets” the page changes to: “Something’s Not Right Here… Don’t worry – your tickets work. But some services are temporarily offline at the moment. We should have everything running smoothly shortly, but if you need immediate assistance please contact Ohio State University Athletics at 800.”
Uh oh. I clicked refresh and now I get: “You don’t have tickets to any upcoming events.”
I’m hopeful it all works out. If not, it won’t be fun explaining this to the rest of the posse!
It’s rather silly. There is ebb and flow on and off topic on threads here all the time. Some people just like to get their panties in a wad.
That said I’m looking forward to the game. We have a good group staying at our hotel in West Covina. We are planning on having a tailgate over by the stadium with some folks from our group heading over when the lot opens at 4am to get some spots together. Now just working on New Year’s Eve plans.
One thing……If you’re using Rosebowl parking they won’t let you “save” parking spots. They’re as bad as the Disneyland Parking Nazis. You will be told where to park at Brookside and you will like it.
Yes we are sending a few cars over first thing to have a few spots together then those who come later can just find that group. We have a SoCal local bringing the food and gear so we don’t have to haul stuff down from Utah.
