I’ve heard the Buffs sold out their season tickets for the first time in a few decades. They had something like 50,000 fans at the spring game.
We’ll see how long they support Coach Neon. Who knows, maybe his method will work at some point but I would think they will be pretty bad the next few years.

Going to HS and college in Colorado (not at CU) I did go to quite a few Buffs games. This was back in their heyday (early 90’s) and the atmosphere up in Boulder was amazing. It’d be good for them to get back to that.

Did you see our stands vs. their stands for the spring game? Not a comparison you want to see if you are on our side. He has that fanbase fired up.

He does, and that’s a good thing. But attendance at spring games doesn’t bother me. We have great attendance when it matters.

I wish we were playing in Boulder again this season. I’d be able to get really cheap, really good seats that late in the season when all the fans have given up on the 1-10 campaign.

I’m excited to see how well his son plays at QB. If he just gives the starting job to his son, when one or two other QBs are clearly better, then the team may quit on him. His son will have to be clearly better than anyone else in order for the team to buy in.

At some point the CU administration is going to need to step in and clean up their mess. If I lived in Boulder, I might feel compelled to visit Deon and call him out for being a grade A douche.
