Why are you pooping around the internet?
marking his territory? haha
Doesnât everybody? Wait⌠What?
WBB is pulling a Utah menâs job. Down to the Ducks, a bottom dweller, 21-29 at half. 20% from 3 and 25% overall shooting.
Isnât that cute, somebody threw up and plastered coniferous trees all over Oregon/s basketball court, at least Colorado State had enough sense to remove their whirly bird ram horns.
Canât stand that court.
Court uglier than their football uniforms
Lady Utes pull it out 58-48
Pulled out a win 58 - 48.
Beavers just upset the Buffs 68-62. Itâs going to be a tuffy, especially if we play like tonight.
I was not able to watch the game as it started too late on EST for this old man. I guess I should be kinda glad? Lids on the basket for each team. In perusing the box score it looks like Roberts really shortened her bench. Wilke got over 20 minutes, but Ross got 4 minutes and White got 3 minutes. Those are two players that Roberts has shown more trust in before.
Oregon State is a top 25 team now and will be a tough out. Hopefully, the Beavers come out tired and flat after what had to be an emotional win.
I really wish our 6â8" player could contribute. SighâŚ
Oregon State starts a player, Kelsey Rees, who transferred from Utah to get more playing time. The Utes lost 3 transfers last year, all are starting for their respective teams and the teams are all doing well.
We could have used Rees this year. Thus far, other than Maty Wilke, havenât seen anything meaningful from the transfers, certainly nothing in the 4 and 5 positions.
But, Rees is getting her starting role and is playing on a really good team. Good for her.
The Utes have ten more regular season games and the schedule is an absolute gauntlet⌠not a single âeasyâ win remains, starting with OSU on Sunday. Man the Pac-12 is strong this year.
The team currently sits at #5 in the Net Rankings⌠real opportunity to shore things up with some of these remaining games.
Thatâs about as bad 1Q defense that youâll ever see. Open lanes to the basket available all quarter long.
Guess Rees made the right decision of transferring.
Utah WBB rebounded against the Huskies on the road, winning 83-65. WSU Cougs will be a very stiff test.
Just got home from the game at UW. Really proud of how they played⌠it was a loud hostile environment. Pili is such a badass⌠wow.
It seems Dasia was injured so they started Wilke, who had another strong game, and used both Palmer and Vieira together in the backcourt. Was great to see them fight off that huge run Washington made getting the game to 5 points, and then just turbo-moved past them. That showed great confidence. McQueen making a key layup to stop that run was huge.
I saw that Wazzuâs best player Charlisse Leger-Walker had a season ending injury in their win at UCLA. Even without her, they gave Colorado quite the game yesterday, but I wonder how much of that was emotions around playing their first game after losing their best player, and maybe they have a down arrow now. That would help the Utes quite a bit tomorrow if they lagged in energy after such an emotional game.
