34-34 half time against the good kitties.
Love the resilience theyāre showing on the road. Theyāve responded to everything Wazzu has been able to do all gameā¦
Final, 73-61. Good balanced scoring and shooting %.
Issyās back!!! She plain and simple took over in the 4th quarter.
With her fully back (seemingly), this team is now much, much tougher than it has been since the Kneepkens injury.
I knew the game was lost for Wazzu when Tihuna and Murekatete had words for each other after a botched inbound play early in the 4th.
thatās a solid road win. Great job ladies!
Playing the Oregon schools at home next week. We need to ārevengeā against the Beavers ā we were badly beat down at their place.
Boy howdy.
Road wins are difficult. I assume that this will be a closer contest.
Terrific article on Kneepkens.

Such a great story. I found myself tearing up a bit during the read. Thank you for posting.
Big game tonight against the Beavers. Please support the team in person if you can.
Utah is playing low IQ ball. Canāt do that when you donāt have size.and are less athletic.
Iām at the game. OSU has some great shooters. Looks like weāre outmatched tonight. Not getting a lot of shots to fall.
17 point deficit now.
We just donāt have the horses. We have to rely on having a good shooting night to win. No bench, either.
I donāt understand how we arenāt able to recruit more decent players taller than 6ā.
Weāve been schooled twice now. Theyāre the better team.
Definitely. Better players. Better plan. Better team.
Yep, frankly, Oregon State is the better team this year, and I agree with the earlier comment that you canāt try things that over and over havenāt worked.
How many time last night did you see a Ute drive the lane, see either Beers or Rees and make a u-turn.
The team had great looks at a lot of shots, but there is something about how OSU plays defense that causes hesitation or something where the shot misses. Pili has never missed that many open threes before.
Thank God for McQueen, the only player who seemingly could hit a shot.
Losing Rees to OSU hurt a great deal. Imagine this team with Rees starting in the middle and Pili playing her more natural position.
As justaute said, we donāt have any bigs and everytime we play a team with multiple bigs, the game is struggle on offense. The Utes play that inside or 3 (with no midcourt shots) and when the inside game isnāt there, you have to hit the 3s, which they couldnāt.
Edited to say that Roberts better be hitting that recruiting and the portal hard for some bigs with some inside scoring ability, with Pili leaving, we would have no bigs (I donāt think Johnson counts as a big).
