Wouldn’t be terribly surprising if it happens. I think the kid might have potential, but he was put in a pretty sucky situation this year. I’d like to think he sticks it out at Utah, learns from it, and continues to improve, but that’s simply not today’s college football world.
I hope that he stays - been wanting a local QB kid to be really successful at the U.

I really liked Rose
This may be the sign that Cam Rising is never leaving. Part of me feels bad the kid burned the redshirt to cover another Cam injury season. Honestly he got a baptism by fire with an o-line that didn’t block very well.
Hope the kid has success wherever he lands…just not against us.
So we’re down to Huard and eighth-year made-of-glass Rising. Awesome.
I’m going to worry about who our starting QB is sometime next August. We can’t assume that anyone on this year’s roster will be on the team next year. I’ll be at the tailgate lot and the first home game however.
I wonder (not really) how much NIL $ Rising will get for next year.

Right. Had Whit said at the beginning of the season that Wilson was 4th string and would redshirt, Wilson would have been mad and transferred anyway.
It’ll be interesting to see how his story plays out but really I’m for a wholesale change on the Offensive side of the call just to clean the pool. Something was broken in several areas. Maybe a fresh start is not a bad thing for anyone.
