It’s starting to feel like Project 2025 around here. (knowing full well that this will be deleted and or moved) Why can’t we as adults express an opinion on something or someone without being told to go stand in the corner? My opinion was a pet peeve and is subject to agreement or ridicule. Either way I’m ok with it and feel we should be able to expound on it without being relegated to another topic. Just my opinion. I’m totally fine with someone expressing differing views than mine and would never tell them to go somewhere else to express their views. Public discourse is what once made our country so great. Let’s not crush it.
Sorry for the rant.
I’ve often said side one of, “Fandango,” is the best ZZTop on record.
I’m more of a Tres Hombres guy myself.
That and Rio Grande Mud
Haven’t been there in ages. Last time it wasn’t as good as remembered. Maybe I need to order something new.
Ive always been partial to Fandango as an historic “Party Album” that and Little Feat’s Waiting For Columbus. Prolly because they were perpetuosly on at parties from juunior high through HS
Thread is getting rather political (and I have been part of it) and we are a very diverse fanbase with different political and religious beliefs but are united in being loyal Utah fans.
Really should keep this thread to things that are annoying (poorly timed traffic lights for example) and leave politics in the categories for those that choose to go there.
I agree and will pay more attention, but what about people who hate the Fandango album?
Send them to Slowjamastan.
What’s up with the US Postal Service? I had two Christmas cards returned as undeliverable (one to Ohio and one to Alpine, UT) that were properly addressed, and now one to Bountiful to the memory care my mother was in containing the last payment to them with Return to Sender written on it. All three were legible and correct in their addresses.
It’s like they don’t care any more.
Wonder what could account for that.
No doubt in my mind it’s the Louis DeJoy Effect.
Bingo in one
Is he related to Dunning-Kruger family?
I wish we had more than a star sometimes. At least a good laugh emoji
Sounds like our local USPS folks have expanded their territory to Utah.
