Reading glasses are worse …
When Utah basketball gives me hope.
Here’s an old one, but just re-experienced. Word salad answers that don’t answer your question. The dance to avoid answering a question is amazing to see from afar, but holy crap is it irritating to experience first hand.
Happens all the time when politicians are interviewed.
Just experienced from a bureaucrat with the Utah DCFS. Long friggin story, but my hell they’re irritating.
While I’m on pet peeve run, let’s add bureaucrats in general, and the Utah DCFS ones in particular.
Crappy DVR service.
Bullies. People who put others down to feel better about themselves.
I live in a high rise downtown. There’s a guy who is always on his phone when he gets into the elevator. Every time he gets on he acts as if he’s surprised by where he’s ended up. I know that in today’s day and age we are mostly all on our phones, and I am not really an exception to that rule. That being said. I’ve seen many people on their phones while they’re crossing the street, driving, and performing other potentially dangerous activities. I once saw a guy driving his car with his knees on the I-15 N while he was scrolling through Instagram. Madness! If I’ve learned anything from photography, it’s about being in the moment and disconnecting. That’s where you find the good stuff.
I admire your visual acuity.
Just remember the old saw… A good driver will sometimes miss turns, a bad driver never misses a turn.
People in luxury cars who speed and don’t signal.
Especially through neighborhoods…
I think we had the arch-type of bad drivers in luxury cars: “Super Dell” Facing Criminal Charges | KSL.com
Witnesses say Schanze’s Jaguar was going at least 50 miles per hour, so fast it brought people out of their homes. A few actually followed the car to the Hang Gliding park at the end of the street. According to a police report, when they confronted Schanze, the scene escalated.
Dell Schanze: “They’re absolutely steam coming out of their ears, psycho road ragers, you have no idea, you can’t trust what they’re going to do.”
Schanze says he was so concerned for his safety that he drew a 10 millimeter Glock handgun after one of the neighbors threatened to damage his car. That’s when someone called the police. The group who confronted Schanze are now shy to comment on the incident. But 11 of them dispute Schanze’s version of what happened.
In addition to his computer business, Schanze also sells guns and teaches gun safety classes.
As long as nobody got killed, Super Dell offered some pretty stout Monty Python level absurdity to be amused by. I wonder what he’s up to these days?
Fixed that for you.
I think cocky BMW drivers are in a class by themselves.
Wait! Isn’t law-optional status part of why people buy BMWs?
[Offer void where prohibited, does not cover sovereign citizens]
Hey Now!!
That’s fair. Just get out of the way.
When people state, such and such person is giving 110%, or 127.5%, or whatever the hell. All that a person can really completely give is 100%, if they are able to even give that, for brief periods of time. Other than that it’s trite pop culture pretend BS.
I feel like you always give 110% here at Utefans. Just sayin.
When I am limping after a hard workout and I get asked if my knee hurts.
“No I just like to pretend it does, and has for over 30 years.”
