BM me sometime (pun intended) I’ll give ya the skiny. ![]()
I just heard a short feature on NPR about the history of Halloween songs, and of course they played a bit of several of the most famous.
They included a bit of my personal all time favorite Halloween Song, and in case you missed it, I’m including a link to the original song by the original author (this is his least campy version). I’ve also included a link to the much less Halloween-ish version of the same song record later several years later by Creedence, which was one of my all-time favorite recordings back in the day.
Nice! You always know an interesting version I’ve never heard, Thanks!
Your welcome😁 The Screamin Jay Hawkins version/ original is a classic !
WFMT, Chicago
He is definitely the original I believe. But I’m a huge fan of the Annie Lennox version
Got to listen to the Divine Miss M sing it in Hocus Pocus.
Love Trowers soulful guitar work ! A killer one note solo
The new Evoken album is peak funeral doom. Crushingly heavy, absolutely menacing, and sinister as hell. I love it.
Everybody loves Joni Mitchell. Even me. ![]()
Can I give 12 stars ?
