Hmm… If tom Petty is gone, what’s taking Neil so long to boot the water-carrying container??

Im genuinely surprised to find he’s around, let alone TOURING.

There are a lot of videos of Neil’s recent shows on YouTube. He’s still got it.

I was at the Rolling Stones show in Vegas on Saturday. They are still very energetic and fantastic.

Saw these guys about a year ago at the Paso Robles, CA amphitheater. Fantastic cover of a magnificent and haunting musical piece:

This track (from the best live album ever recorded, imo) is proving to be as sadly relevant today as it was when it released 30 years ago.

My number one best live recording (by far) is:

Also the answer to the question:

you can only listen to one recording for the rest of your life,

for me would be this same album. If I could only choose one song, it would be ‘If you could see me now” from this album.

Related to the Allman Brothers at the Fillmore East, I am a bit surprised that our friend @Chitz didn’t respond. I believe he has posted here before where that album is his #1.

It’s a great album, but my #1? I don’t remember saying that. That would probably be the Beatles White Album. Or maybe Wish You Were Here. Or maybe Led Zeppelin II. So many choices…

Well, my memory is faulty in my old age. But, I thought you had once said that, or something close to that. Oh well, thanks for helping me. I definitely hear you on so many choices.
