Amazing to experience Dylan AND Austin City Limits. I assumed Dylan was no longer with us. Pleasant surprise!

I’m going to see him in Boise in August with Willie Nelson.

He’s looking pretty frail so I don’t think he’ll be touring much longer.

Solo, or with Crazy Horse?

Saw them in the early 80’s in a Troy NY hockey rink. Sonic Youth and Social Distortion opened for Neil. Never heard of either band. Loudest concert I ever went to. Then Neil cam on and it was even louder. My ears rang for 2 days.So loud my ears started ringing befor the concert ended. Probably better outside and not in a hockey arena but…
Don’t want to see Neil or CH ever again. Why do bands have to be so loud?
It’s annoying at least, and damaging to human beings and forest creatures.
Love the guy’s work, but, not cool.

I went to shows for a good 15 years before breaking down and getting earplugs. Loudest show I ever saw was White Zombie back in the mid-90’s. It was just a massive wall of noise that was so loud you couldn’t even tell what song they were playing. It was awful.

In an attempt to save what little hearing I have left, I won’t ever go to a concert without earplugs now. Thankfully, most people I see at shows now wear them. You can get good ones (not just the fluorescent foam ones) for $20-30 on Amazon.

Not only is Dylan still with us, he’s also on a “Never Ending Tour”.

Thanks so much. Youre right. I’m starting to see them too. I wonder what the compulsion is for setting the board that loud?

Tonight is DWARF METAL NIGHT!!! Seeing Wind Rose at a sold out Metro.

Wind Rose is a folk metal band from Italy whose songs all revolve around Lord of the Rings/Dungeons & Dragons Dwarves. There will be raucous sing-alongs about drinking ale, fighting dragons, and - of course - digging in the mines.

This was the last time I saw them, on the metal cruise in January. They are an absolutely hilarious blast to witness in person.

Isn’t this Dwarf Metal ?

I remember a few years back there was this big feud between Mini Kiss, Tiny Kiss and Baby Kiss (or something like that) for dwarf KISS tribute band supremacy. Not sure who came out on top, and too lazy to look it up right now. But it was a whole thing.

I remember that. Not sure who got the “short” end of the stick on that “little” spat.

They could have made a fortune with free for all wrestling match to determine the winner.

Just watched Field of Dreams again. Seemed appropriate for the time of year. The eternal hope of the game, the nostalgia of it.

Well worth watching IMO.

oops I put this under the wrong category.
