It was stuck in my head this morning at work so I posted it. It’s hard to pick a favorite Doors song but I might have to go with Riders. I like all of their stuff though.
Meet me in the back of the blue bus.
Did you also know the background soundtrack featured Dead drummers Mickie Hart and Bill Kreutsman?
This is an excellent BTS rendition of world class, master drummers playing improvisational indugenous music.
Fair amount of music theory and visual palate.
Hey, if you’re a member of AARP, you can get early access to tickets for the Stones 24 tour, Hackney Diamonds. They must be sparing us long time fans from having to deal with these new fangled ways of getting tickets, and using our flip phones as an alternative to paper tickets. Bless those boys.
It’s a 15 stop tour. Better try for the third concert in Vegas. They may not all be alive by the time they hit their 11th concert in Denver.
I’m planning on seeing the Vegas show.
When I first saw the AARP graphic on their tour ad, I thought it was a joke. Great marketing move TBH.
I waited too long to sign up for the pre-sale and now it’s too late. Anybody happen to have the presale code for Seattle? I assume it’s venue-specific… they usually are.
I dont, but try reditt. Usually that’s a reasonable resource for show/travel/lodging tour beta.

Nice, they played some Old & In The Way on KBOO about 10 minutes ago!
Jerry was a banjo player of merit with aspirations to play with the Blue Mountain Boys long before picking up guitar. He continued to finger-pick throughout his lead guitar career.
My namesake announced they’re splitting up for good after 41 years as a band. I’m crushed…they’ve been a part of my musical life since I was in high school.
At their prime, Skinny Puppy was an absolutely insane force of nature. I’ve always said that if nightmares had soundtracks, it would be provided by Puppy. Their live shows were like something straight out of a drug-addled fever dream. Glad I got to see them one last time this year.
Between the last ever P12 game yesterday and now this announcement, I’m feeling just…weird today. Kinda empty. This sucks.
An acquaintance of mine saw them in Vancouver last week and said it was an epic show. I would have liked to see them live, unfortunately never did.
