@SkinyUte I have a buddy from my MMA gym who is the drummer for this band.
Super nice guy/excellent musician (as well as a legit fighter on the mats).
Thought I would post this with you in mind.

Very cool! They’re a little outside my usual metal genre (they’re metalcore and I’m more into death and black metal), but I’ve definitely heard them before and they’ve come up on a few of my playlists.

Metal drummers are freaking amazing. As a really, really, really mediocre drummer (OK…I’m terrible), I’m always awed by their skill on the kit.

Yeah, he’s sponsored by Meinl cymbals. Here’s a promo video.

That was awesome. Very talented dude.

Althea is one of my favorite Dead songs. This is a great cover.

His Jiu-Jitsu is equally legit…

It’s that time of year when it makes sense to share our favorite under-the-radar Christmas tunes. Here are a couple of my favorites. What about yours?

Christmas Will Break Your Heart - LCD Soundsystem

Fairytale of NewYork - The Pogues

Sarah McLachlan - River

When I go, I want my farewell to be like this. Sadly I have no musical talent, but I’m sure someone can figure it out. I won’t be there.

One of best underrated bands to come from Australia. In the late 80’s everyone focused on Midnight Oil and INXS, and the waning years of Men at Work. Loved the Starfish CD, Gold Afternoon Fix and Priest = Aura were good CDs after Starfish. Most people only know Under the Milky Way, but The Church had so many great songs.

That reminded me of Collin Hay’s very funny guest appearance on Scrubs.
