yup…Kristen! She’s an indoor track rider – I’m guessing that’s about to change.
U of U freshman Sam Watson sets world record in sport climbing (looks like rock climbing) at Paris Olympics:
It’s easy to get a lot of practice on the side of the Student Union Bldg.
I saw that! I think they should have a split screen with a squirrel climbing the route, because this kid flew up that wall faster than Rocky.
Go UTES!!!
ADDENDUM: OOPS! Aparently, this squirrel is up to the challenge. This is the media age we live in. Go UTES!
I have an inappropriate crush on Kevin Durant. Go USA!
It really looked like the universe was lined up to have France win the gold at home…
…then those bombs by Curry.
Hats off to France - it’s been an impressive Olympics.
At least France didn’t get beat by two fouls, a coast to coast dribble, then a 10 foot jumper.
A little help here…don’t remember that.
I think it’s cheating to have identical twins performing in the artistic swimming duet competition.
There, I said it.
The only way to defeat this threat to the sport is to have identical twin judges.
The Jazz 1998
I kind of feel bad for France - lost both basketball finals, at home, in similar fashion.
But how special for Brittney Griner. She didn’t play - I assume injury - but was in tears on the medal podium as the national anthem was played. She’s had an unbelievable journey, now so grateful to be representing the USA.
Actually, Griner played 5 minutes and scored 4 points. I was surprised to see that Taurasi did not play, however.
Good catch - I think they would have played Taurasi if they got any kind of separation.
France was inspired, home crowd… they were tough.
