What worries me most about this is that players and coaches could follow him to Michigan. That would really set the program back in a big way.
He could also take some coaches that have either played for him or coached with him before from the TDS staff. I wouldn’t mind at all if he took Jay Hill with him.
Just heard on ESPN at the halftime of the bowl game. They are reporting that it is all but official at this point.
ESPN saying it’s a 5 year deal and a done deal today. Interested in the $ but I’m betting 11m+

I hope he takes Jay Hill with him, and Hill brings some BYU position coaches and players with him. But I am guessing Crumbl’s CEO would have something to say about that. Sigh. The sport is getting crazy.

I have a sinking feeling that we are about to lose many coaches and players to Michigan. Hope I’m wrong. This would include recruits.

This is probably the best choice for Michigan. He should stabilize the program. He runs a clean program which Michigan needs after many years of scandal.
I just hope he doesn’t raid the Utah team for players, but it’s 2025 and that happens all the time.

I’m hoping Whittingham is an honorable man who was deeply invested in the Utah program, and he wouldn’t do that. But I’m not naive, and you probably are right.
