Growing up in the 60’s and EMS in the 70’s I never understood any reason to drive under the influence of anything (including sleep deprivation or electronic distractions)

Substances affect the judgement center of the brain, so it short circuits the “I shouldn’t do this”. It’s why pre planning is important

Scanning through that thread, its hard to believe that some of these people are real…

It’s a really interesting mixture of arrogance (we will be in the CCG), defeatism (Tech will beat us again), along with anticipatory anxiety and anger that they’ll be left out of the CFP.

When they put on a show, it’s often one for the ages. If drinking suddenly became a commandment, the reaction down there might alter the rotation of the Earth.
