Interesting breakdown of Cincy and the Utes

This looks like a well-educated assessment, although it’s not Utah-friendly. I don’t know what to expect, because the big 12 is so unpredictable.
The writer does a pretty good job of identifying Utah’s warts.

I agree with his POV. Utah certainly has not proved itself in any meaningful way.

Im going to disagree here, in their 6 wins they have given up more than 10 points once, and that was 14 to West Virginia in garbage time
They lost to a top 10 team by 3 pts on the road in which we all know was a very winnable game, granted, they shat the bed against Texas Tech but were only down 3 in the 4th quarter with a hobbled qb. That being said, I’m not giving up on this team ! Utes by 10

So this analyst thinks Cincy will beat the spread. She’s definitely not alone on that. I for one think the Utes will cover. Guess we’ll find out soon enough, won’t we.

Definitely not giving up. In the end, POVs don’t matter, just win.

The Big-12 is too difficult to predict with any confidence.

Utah dominates ASU, who beats Texas Tech the next Saturday. BYU goes to 2OT against Arizona.

Utah dominates West Virginia on the road, who gives BYU a much better game the next week in Provo.

Utah dominates CU, who a few weeks earlier really tested BYU, and beat Iowa State the week before, who previously were thought to be a leader.

Cincy beat ISU 38-30. (Have the Cyclones collapsed? Or just the way their last 3 games have gone?)

I don’t think comparative scores and the stats mean a lot - just go beat these guys.

I don’t predict a dominant performance tonight, but I think the author taps into a counter narrative that we’re soft, mostly based on the TTech game.

Utah may or may not field an effective offense- but Utah is not soft. Cincinnati’s QB and offensive skill players will find this out as have many visiting teams before.

College Game Day - lol at the sign with the Fano brothers in blue dresses… like the twin girls in The Shining.

Few people get that reference but I think it was pretty funny.

if you did not catch GameDay, this was a great segment.

Alex’s lead-up and pick for the Utes’ game was terrific. Great segment.

Yeah, that was going really well until that Pat guy took his shirt off.

I can’t express in words how much I can’t stand him. He’s made Gameday almost unwatchable and makes me think ESPN believes all its viewers are mouth breathing knuckle draggers.

I’ve known a few of those knuckledraggers in real life. Their schtick gets real old, real fast, and most of them were of the playground bully type. Glad I don’t work with or for them anymore.

How we defend their QB will determine the outcome. If he is able to gash us in 3rd or 4th and long, like the BYU QB and Tech backup did, we will be in trouble.

Does anyone have a link to watch the game online? I just noticed ESPN isn’t on YouTubeTV any longer, which sucks.

You can buy a 24-hour “day pass” on Sling that includes ESPN for $5. That’s what I’m doing.

Honestly might be what I do for the rest of the season, tbh. Just buy a $5 pass to watch on Saturdays. $20/month sure beats $70/month for YoutubeTV, especially when the only thing I ever watch is football. .

Sooo yeah. This pundit and all the others who picked Cincy to cover the spread look awfully silly right now.
