I guess that fumble at the one yard line is a great lesson in how when you’re playing at this level you can’t make mistakes like that. I’m sure Tavion feels awful.

I have no complaints. Solid game just didnt come out on top. Whit is coaching well and we aren’t dead yet.

Last year we were great in the red zone. It seemed like we had some innovative plays to keep defenses on their heels like the fly sweep to a TE, misdirection to a QB run, etc. We had no imagination around the goal line today. Not sure if that is a Ludwig thing or due to circumstances. I guess at the end we are limited to pass only, due to having no time outs left. But with weapons like Kuithe and Kincade, competent receivers, and Risings legs, we should been able t9 score.
Fun game to watch. Didn’t go our way. College kids did pretty good at the Swamp and have work to do for the next one. Beat those Thunderbirds!

Also, I really wish our first two games were flipped this year. Would have been nice to knock off the rust against SUU instead of in the Swamp.

Being the 1st game, i wonder if various personnel groups weren’t quite ready to open up the playbook. Tough that UF was the 1st game (great test) amd haven’t built full game trust. Games like this, one stellar athlete can beat you, and he did.

Man, was an exciring game to watch. That last play put a pit in my stomach. Haven’t felt that way for a long time. They’ve got a long season ahead, and there is still so much to play for. Don’t get too far down on this loss.
