Death of the PAC12 thread — and what happens to Utah

Well, here is my take…idiocy does not discriminate, nor does greed.

I love it out there. Alabama Hills Diner for breakfast. We went out there last summer to check out Manzanar National Historic Site and that Western Film museum. Love doing the hike around Mt. Whitney as well

Happens all the time. It’s fun, if it doesn’t get out of control.

It was most everywhere, just more virulent in the South?

this thread needs to get back to making fun of Aunt Becky University

remember when USC came out of the tunnel against Alabama only to lose 52-7. Hard to maintain a conference when your flagship football program performs like that.

But…we beat Alabama. Of course, we weren’t in the conference at that time. Guess we’ll just have to be the flagship program in our next conference.

Oh, they just have no shame about it when you find it in the south. That said in the metro areas you’ll get your ■■■ beat quick compared to anywhere else for being racist.

This was glorious because all my SC cousins talked so much trash pregame. They didn’t respond to group text for at least 5 months. The hilarious thing Alabama was having a QB tryout during the game. It’s when future ASU legend Blake Barnett started but Jalen Hurts won the job.

Correction @sweetgrass SC only scored 6

Beating them in the Mausoleum one last time would make for a nice close to an era.

I’m not hearing of anyone willing to pay bribe money and risk federal jail time to get their kid into Utah.

FTFO!

Well, at least we know admissions to SC are as fraudulent as their football team.

That’s because people applying to Utah have integrity and good judgment.

Well, it’s SC. Some of us have ivy background and our parents didn’t have to bribe anyone.

Were you a legacy acceptance? Haha

Confederacy!?!

This is my first, last, and only comment on any thread on this board regarding the death of the PAC12:

This whole situation sucks.

And, it happened in a manner that will ultimately benefit no one! How does killing the essence of this sport, it’s history, it’s traditions, it’s fanbases and rivalries, even minimally result in generating more eyeballs on TV and any resulting money?

It does not. As near as I can tell, there was no single other benefit ever envisioned.

More pointedly, and the reason for my post is that this is a Football thread, not a political one. @RockerUte, am I wrong?

And this is the only time I’ve ever heard a college $ports fan brag that the $chool he loves inspires felonious behavior by very wealthy people.

The more information that comes out on this whole circus, the more ludicrous it becomes.
