In the playoffs, 3 teams with the ‘bye’ are gone and Georgia is down 10 at the half.

Sure ASU and Boise State were underdogs but top ranked Oregon was crushed in the first half.

UGA also is without a starting QB.

These “weird” results happen pretty regularly in the NFL playoffs. We see wildcard teams advance pretty far, and even win the Super Bowl. So, maybe the bye isn’t the greatest thing in the world this time of the season.

I am glad the SEC lost…. That’s all I suppose.

Same. Can’t wait for Notre Dame, Penn State or Ohio to win

Well, Ole Miss is hammering Duke. Not that it comes as a surprise.

The only surprise is Lane left his Unabomber outfit in the locker room this time.

Duke’s starting qb (Maalik Murphy, former backup to Texas Ewers last year with Arch 3rd) left to Ore St. while Dart was still there at Ole Miss. But Ole Miss was one of those great teams that had some days where they just stunk.

This is probably an accurate breakdown of the entire SEC this year.

Watching the Bahamas Bowl and the head coach for Liberty is wearing a bright red t-shirt that says “Jesus Won”. His team is getting torched (pun intended), just wondering if he’ll blame Jesus for the loss as so many are quick to give him credit for winning?

Not sure I understand what this is supposed to mean… is it likening religions to a contest, or is there some other meaning. Also is it school-sanctioned gear, as coaches typically wear? Weird.

Which one? The white looking one or the brown looking one? Hehe

It’s Liberty. The Falwell family is well known to profit off of faux Christianity. Tim Alberta wrote a great book about the movement “The Kingdom, The Power and The Glory.” I say this as someone raised inside that group of people. Bad news and the University is creepy.

That was quite a drive for ND, to open the game! I’m not a huge ND fan or anything, but I’ll cheer for them over Ohio State any day.

I feel like the first drive took a lot out of them and tOSU seems to be warming up. Nothing has been certain this year and I’m hoping for a close game but am not sure I’d bet on the Irish watching the Buckeyes respond.

First Trump inauguration, Then January 6th pardons and then a National Title? Big day for Ohio.

Well that early spectacular drive by ND certainly didn’t age well :disappointed:

Two months ago, when OSU lost to Michigan, Buckeye fans were rabidly calling for Ryan Day’s head. Then the guy goes on to win a national title. Crazy.

Give’em a couple of days, then they’ll want his head again. If not in that time frame, next season when they lose to Michigan again.

lol. They spent 20 million in the off season. Let’s be real. Right now MLB rules are in College Sports. Any school can do what Ohio just did with spending the cash. They literally got some of the best players in America through the portal and that’s a respect to their boosters and dedication to getting the best roster.
