COVID-19 Discussion (No Politics)

The interview is almost 45 minutes long. Can you give us some of the highlights?

The full context requires 45 minutes of your time. Essentially,

  1. There is a cult of power leading this movement, coronavirus is a conduit for their objectives.

  2. This cult wants to develop a hunger games society, and centralize power towards AI dependence and rid society of any small business or otherwise opportunity to usurp power.

  3. Data about coronavirus should be questioned…there’s numbers, sure, but are they taking it to the depth needed to truly attribute death to the virus?

  4. The formula is problem, reaction, solution. Logical humans (such as the OP) are wondering why the virus has shut down the world and will ultimately undercut an enormous element of the economy, forcing government dependence, along with ā€œsocial distanceā€ (i.e., the objective to get people dependent on AI and electronics to accomplish things) that will evolve to a permanent portion of our society?

Ad hom, but the original question of this thread is valid. The flu has a higher death toll, and coronavirus, albeit a new strand, is known… and there’s been many serious viral outbreaks, what makes this one different? It’s a proper question. Also, amidst the reaction and global panic and data, point me to a location where cause of death is listed. Covid-19 was found in the victims, but I’ve also observed media reaction to Donovan Mitchell with this same virus, what’s his status? Point me to that site, credibly, so I’m also aware.

This definition fits mass media perfectly.

Interesting questions posed, and equally interesting solutions proffered.

Why indeed is it necessary to kill off so many small, mid and even large businesses by closing almost everything when the vulnerable demographic is known? Or force them to close and then offer them debt to stay alive and re-open? How is that not a shake down, organized crime style?

Why is it necessary to waste so many resources, cause so much fear and panic and risk the entire economic system?

Why can’t the known high-risk population, a tiny minority, receive the focus of attention and resources in a much more limited way, and the rest of us carry on as usual and not destroy financial markets, businesses, jobs, lives, and possibly even the whole damn system?

Rahm’s rule. Occam’s Razor. Common sense.

This is interesting, although I need to spend more time with it to understand it better.

Plague…Earthquake…anyone want to fund the gofundme so I can buy a 50 caliber to shoot the next ā€œHorseman of the Apocalypseā€ that rides over the hill into Salt Lake Valley? JK

This March has been nothing short of brutal.

Oh and whoever order up the extra shakes…you’re on my list!

Ben McAdams announced yesterday that he has tested positive for coronavirus. I sat right behind him on my flight back from DC on March 5.

Now I’m frantically trying to remember if he sneezed…

If you still don’t know the answer to that after the wealth of information about how this virus spreads, then I’m not sure what to tell you.

From the Guardian, today: When Will a Coronavirus Vaccine Be Ready?

Then how was Singapore able to do it?

Now there’s a reputable, reliable source of… ā€œinformationā€.

As if there’s any privacy in the US. Did they kill off their economy in the process, cause more fear and panic instead of reassuring the people and calming nerves?

These ā€œdraconianā€ measures are meant to delay this things spread so we can act more like SK with aggressive testing and targeted isolations and quarantines. If we had been better prepared starting with getting test kits ready in January we would t be in this mess.

I agree with this Rocker. Just today I clicked a link shared on social media. Same conspiracy hogwash and the only thing he wanted was donations. They call people sheep but that is exactly what those guys are feasting upon.

I guess we could round up everyone over 65 or who is immuno-compromised and force them into quarantine until…what? Sounds like a great idea for a movie.

Here’s a long post about the mathematical problem faced with COVID-19 (I can’t remember if this had been shared before).
