So Bentley can throw up a ‘jackpot’ ball in 500?

Need to do more slants and screens let our TEs and WRs run the ball

Our DBs are getting beaten on long balls. Receivers always have the advantage because they know where they’re going, but reacting on that icy field footing has got to be a real challenge for our defenders.

Seems like our receivers should have that same advantage, no?

One would think so.

WR could get there, but Bentley past 20 yards is not accurate.

It’s not surprising that our young and inexperienced defensive backfield is not doing very well. This may will turn out to be another game to chalk up to experience for next year. Whatever.

Yeah, feels like this is going downhill quickly after a promising start.

You can be solid everywhere else, but if you don’t have a good qb, you won’t get far.

There we go!

He seems to have moments of excellence. The question is whether we will get enough of those in this game to win. Never a good position to be in with your QB.

Say what you will about Bentley’s accuracy (I think he is good, not great). But he does a great job avoiding blitz. Maybe it isn’t blitz so much, as unblocked rushers.

Agree. Now let’s get the run game working somehow.

Anyone have an idea how many rushing yards we have? I fear that number is going to be pretty ugly by half time.

Ugh

Hand get hit? Well, better than a punt from the 10

Looked like the ball was slippery on that throw. Wounded duck.

Perfect pass
Wrong guy…

Both the real long balls we blitzed and left the young guys out in man to man. Might want to quit sending the marines and leave some help.

It took UW an entire half to realize they should just throw the ball against us. Colorado learns faster. We have no pash rush, and our run defense is good. Why would anyone run against us?
