Utes pick up a commitment from a portal guy. Clayton Isbell is a big safety from Illinois State. He’s been an FCS All-American. One of the most highly ranked DB’s in the portal.

Utes picked up a 2022 PWO commit today. Kaimana Hanohano a WR from Gilbert AZ.
Yahoos sports says Mack Howard is a 4-star recruit. Everyone else seems to say he’s a 3-star. Does anyone know more?
ESPN has him as a 4 star

That’s gotta be some big time culture shock coming to Salt Lake, by yourself, at 18 years old, from Alabama, in the middle of winter.

Somebody on Facebook just posted that Taveon Thomas will be suspended, supposedly for not going to class.
I can’t confirm or deny the rumor, just passing it along.
Hmmm, wonder if that’s why I haven’t read anything about him in the updates in my news feed.
I noticed the same thing. When they talked about running backs, he was never mentioned. But, I don’t know, hope it’s not true.

Tavion was suspended for a day, then suspended a second time for a week The second suspension was last week. not sure when it expires (if not renewed).

Utes pick up a commit. Class of '22.
Another 2022 commit. Brandon Bethel, a WR out of Idaho. He’s known more as a hoops kid, but has decided to play football. I don’t see him listed as a scholarship kid anywhere, so he’s likely a PWO.
