Fixed that for you.
Well, in a state we’re recreational cannabis is legal it’s not too hard to figure out where the “dream” term came from.
Kalani isn’t going anywhere.
I read from a UCLA media ecosystem “source” it’s not inconceivable for UCLA to get out of football altogether.
A number of California schools (Fullerton State, Long Beach State, Pacific, San Francisco, possibly others) have removed football over the years. Would be quite startling for UCLA to go that route though.
This might be the least surprising possoble development out of the recent firing.
I would actually admire them for doing that, in a way.
Eh, seems like the B1G and more specifically its media partners will have something to say about that.
The bRuins were in a financial bind prior to the move, and they thought the move would solve it.
It got worse.
It seems when you receive $100 million in revenue, but it costs $150 million to “compete,” not only can you not make you debt payments, you just keep piling on more debt.
This is where UCLA is now, and now U$C is joining them in the deficit spend doom cycle.
What’s interesting is even with all the “crazy, stupid money” being thrown around, more schools are running into the same problems as the defector twins. The thing Utah needs to remember is they have a state constitutional mandate to balance their budget. Chasing teams from non balance budget states down the rabbit hole is no bueno.
This is turning into an arms race where nobody wins and everyone loses.
Talking to a Bruin friend in the know he said, “UCLA athletics is facing a $200 million deficit, so anything is possible. But the situation is dire. They should’ve never hired Foster. Trying to save cash will cost them more cash.”
UCLA also has to pay $10 million a year CALimoney through 2029-30. The athletic settlement they agreed to with CAL when the Bruins bolted to the B1G.
And… apparently they just lost the #1 National Public University title to them. Down bad.
Arizona and Houston with solid wins last night. I know it’s been a rough September but this may be a two bid league in the end.
Wrong league, but USC in trouble at Illinois, down 24-10 late in the 3rd
You think USC fans are enjoying their move to the B1G? Oh well, there’s always the beach.
lol, they showed Eric Mussellman, USC’s hoops coach, reportedly at the beach on a dreary morning, in a USC football costume with a big screen TV.
“The best place to watch USC road games”
Rest up, Eric. You’re going to need a couple of cases of amphetamines from Santa for basketball season to deal with all that east coast travel.
Tylenol killed the Trojan.
So far a good day. Utah is winning and Southern Cal lost.
I missed these on Wednesday, but found the Week 4 Bottom 10 today.
Enjoy
H-Man, where he may be must be bursting with happiness. Not to mention, Dabo may have run his course in Clemsucks (for H-Man).
Week 5 has arrived…and the Big 12 is representing.
Enjoy
