First game of the season a Big XII Top 25 matchup with K-State vs Iowa State. Who are y’all picking?
Looking like MAC football. Which is a compliment. Insanity in Ireland.
The big winner will be Guinness.
Having been around fans of the Little Apple when they came to Nashville, they wi be sloppyby the 4th.
Watching Fresno at KU. Stadium renovation looks sweet. I expect Utah offense to look a lot like KU except not as up-tempo.
Daniels for KU can scoot

Decent slate and I expect this to be a total normal weekend where nothing insane happens. lol
I’ll take Big 12 in all except:
- Although I think Baylor has potential, Auburn has talent that will lead them to a W in the 1st game of the season
- I have doubts for CU, but I think at home they might pull it off
- I think UNC will come out hot for Belichick and surprise TCU, which I think can be a 9-3 team
I hate to make predictions this time of year. It’s super difficult to know. Moreso now with the Transfer Portal.
Well, if I work fast maybe my new mini deck and stairs to the backyard will be done before Saturday’s kickoff.
It would be fun to tailgate to the new space, and have an easy access to the kitchen and bathroom. Since my smoker will be going up on the deck too, something tells me there is a smoked Thanksgiving dinner coming this November.
To the games this weekend, if the Conference doesn’t want to have the conference schedule cannibalize it down to one team making the CFP, they better win all of the OOC games.
I was curious what the line is on Win Totals for the BigXII (according to FanDuel):
Arizona- 5.5
ASU- 8.5
Baylor- 7.5
Cincinnasty- 6.5
Colorado- 5.5
Houston- 6.5
Iowa State- 8.5
Kansas- 7.5
KState- 7.5
OSU-4.5
TCU-6.5
Texa$ Tech-8.5
UCF-5.5
Mighty Utes-7.5
WVU-5.5
Zoobs- 6.5
They have the Top 4 teams for the Conf. Title as ASU, and Texa$ Tech at +550 and Utah and Baylor at +650. I don’t gamble but those Utah bets seem pretty tempting.
I have a feeling there will be 1 8-1 team in conference then 3 to 4 at 7-2 with weird tiebreakers again for the CCG. The conference has parity and no elite teams, so I’m expecting 1 team around the 10 rank with 3 more in the teens. So, 1 in CFP again.
I agree. Nebraska @ Cincy, Auburn @ Baylor, GaTech @ CU, Utah @ UCLA, TCU @ UNC are important games for conference SOS. If any other schools lose this week, they should forfeit the rest of the season.
Hawaii at Arizona could be interesting. Hawaii did just beat the Trees. Don’t know if that means much, but…
Maybe it’s my loathing coming through, but I don’t think Auburn has fixed anything from last season. I could be crazy, but I think Baylor wins at home.
The Big XII almost went perfect for the night in OOC. Always the Bearcats to let people down.
At least Kansas won tonight. Rough start for the conference.
I don’t care if it’s bad for the conference. Watching both Baylor and CU lose was fantastic.
I can live with Baylor beating Liberty lite from the Plaines of Alabama.
The difference in size and sheer athleticism between Auburn and Baylor was very stark.
The gulf really is getting wider and wider, sadly.
