One of the most dominant defensive performances in Ute history, in front of a hostile crowd, against 97 degree heat, knowing a freshman QB is leading the offense. Impressive.

Can’t explain the last few minutes but going into OSU in 100+ with a true freshman and winning has to rank up there on the great win list.

Well, that was more interesting that I expected when the team was up by 18. Glad for the win. I hope Wilson learns about putting more touch on the ball, and that he gets some more protection going forward.
Wasn’t the prettiest game, but I, like all of us, will take the W.

One thing this win should show the coaches is the prevent is the surest way to let the other team get 16 points quick.
Maybe keeping the foot on the gas needs to be on the D as well as the O.

There were multiple points where I thought the game was effectively over…and then it was finally over.
249 yards of rushing + 207 yards of passing was a dominant performance, offensively.
Okie State had 48 yards rushing and ended with 237 in the air.
We lost the turnover margin 3-2, but the game wasn’t as close as the score suggests, Considering the conditions and starting a TR FR at QB against one of the better teams in the league at their place…
… a nice way to start the Big-12 era.
On to a night game at RES against a team we have a score to settle with.
