We seem solidly in control other than the turnovers. If we clean those up we are ahead 20-3.

My worry is that OSU makes adjustments on offense and is much more efficient in the second half. They are highly unlikely to score only three points in the second half. Utah’s offense needs to hang onto the ball.

Their QB will have to get a lot better. Most of his throws have been pretty bad.

We need a big play or two. It feels like we are grinding, and I’m not sure how successful that will be in the heat.

Gotta step it up and put points on the board. Letting them hang around too much. If they pull ahead, I fear we won’t have enough in us and/or time to get it back.

Great run and glad we Got at least 3. But running from the shotgun creates this dead start with no momentum for the RB. We should drive the ball better but not with that stop and handoff thing.

Don’t get me wrong his performance in what is basically his first game out of state as a freshman is really stunning. I have great hopes for the future. Just know that we could do so much more with the run game but I’m complaining while we are winning. So guess it’s a first world problem for us atm.

Maybe my hesitation about grind it out game was wrong. Seems they are getting worn down. Their defense has got to be tired with the time-of-possession difference. It’s opening things up for big plays.

Maybe that’s why Whittingham makes millions coaching and I don’t.
