You’re implying Utah has an offense. I take offense to that.
Watching this game, I am reminded of an old football “truism.”
If you say you have 2 QB’s, you have no QB.
If Johnson could throw reliably I don’t think we would have a 2-QB system. And I don’t think. Johnson will be able to consistently run it effectively if everyone knows he will not throw.
I guess we should keep in mind that they wouldn’t have gotten that close to a score without the pick we gave them.
There is my Johnson throw! Boom
Baylor’s player had the sole come off of his shoe. The turf in the sun gets so dang hot I bet it is melting the glue or at least making the glue soft.
I’ve played a lot of soccer on the turf in the sun and my feet have been so hot I felt like they might get burned.
I cannot say that I like that play call.
Do we have any toes left after that series? It was like we just kept shooting ourselves in the foot.
Have to agree LA. The coaches seem to like a roughly 50-50 run-play ratio but if Johnson is nearly all run the D is going to act accordingly. Nate’s passes have looked pretty good so perhaps they will move towards 50-50 over time.
Just curious. What are the possible explanations for calling a QB run on third and goal from the 15? Ludwig is no dummy. Just wondering.
Trickeration?
She has a radar gun to see how hot it is?!

How is this team running up the middle on us???
It’s astonishing, isn’t it?
This is making me sad
Ute swagger is dissipating
Let’s face it, folks. We are in a dogfight.
Yeah. I think Whitt knew it would be this way.
We may not be much of a road team this year.
Depth is part of it.
We’re missing 2 starting DL, a starting LB.
That affects rotations, which obviously is more noticeable in weather like this
