Sure looked like it to me, but that referee was standing five or 6 feet away from the play with a direct view of it. Also, I accept the ruling by @Diehard_Ute!

Give Baylor credit for fighting back from last week.
And we found out who our QB2 is.
Nate & JJ with the offensive game balls. Bishop with the defensive game ball. Becker… it’s just nice to have a solid kicker.
That had letdown written all over it, but we found a way to prevail.

Yep and the ball was simply floated to the EZ - Hail Mary style, with several guys bearing down on the QB - and hung in the air for like 5 seconds. You just don’t call PI in those circumstances… I’ve almost never seen it called.

A win is a win. We may drop in the polls, but who cares this early in the season.
We didn’t have any major injuries that I can remember, as long as JqJ is ok. And we rested those who are still recovering. And we hopefully answered a big question about QB2.

Well, we’re 2-0…I hope we take care of business next week with Weber. Hopefully Rising can get a one half tuneup with Johnson taking the game home in the second half.

I wouldn’t have guessed that Utah would have the energy in the 4th on this one, in those conditions, but we’ve got a team with heart, and we’ve got our QB situation figured out.
You have to respect your opponent. Baylor’s a talented team that was humiliated at home. They had all the mojo early.
We pulled their mojo for ourselves, late.

As I understand it- the DB has the right to go for the football. On replay he was watching the ball and trying to get to it. Looked clean by my amateurish view.

Nate rose to the occasion. There were playing a lot of zone, BUT had to account for Nate possibly taking off.
