2025 NCAA Tournament

This is exactly how I feel when I renewed my Rose Bowl Suite this year knowing the past two seasons I had to deal with my own or Ohio State fans. Both are suboptimal.

I can easily handle Alabama basketball, unless it’s the championship. Would you prefer Kentucky?

I would prefer no SEC teams.

Absolutely! I couldn’t stomach BYU winning. So far, so good.

I would also add that I am not anti-SEC in basketball, really.

Whoa whoa whoa. They have a tech for BYU being unsportsmanlike? Not a BYU player.

The Tide hit 25 3-pointers, an NCAA Tournament record. I thought for sure that Loyola Marymount hit more than that in 1990 in their second-round win over Michigan (something like 145-110). I guess not. Thanks 'Bama for sparing us having to watch BYU advance to the Elite 8.

Now you can root for Duke or the Wildcats to beat us next round.

So what’s the over/under on the number of “Leave it to Beaver” reruns CBS will run between now and the Regional Final if “Dook” gets there?

I’d be fine if both lost.

I’ll take Bama over either of those teams any day.

It’s hard to accept the fact that competitive mid-majors are disappearing. Sigh…

They are now the recruiting grounds for the “bigger” or should we say “well funded” schools. Alabama is only where they are because they have a dude from Kennesaw State, North Dakota State and Ohio University. Basketball obv has benefited more substantially with the new era NIL and Portal.

Without sport Alabama is just a community college but because of sports investment it is becoming a massive spot for the middle range students who want to experience Greek life and top level sports.

Thus, why my kid isn’t even looking at them for college.

Interesting that BYU lost because Alabama just couldn’t miss. Another point of view might be that BYU couldn’t stop them. Am I being too hard on them?

They weren’t living right on and off the court.

Get your story right.

On the other hand, they did score 85 points and held the Tide back in the paint. Sounds like a Poppinga victory to me. Dick Harmon, call your office!

Saw a crazy stat. If Alabama only hit the threes they made and FTs and didn’t make any of the FG they hit would still have beat BYU.

Tourney is harsh as 67 teams end the season losing their biggest game of the year…

Brutal 3 point attack by Bama, shattering the tourney record. BYU did some things well, but failed horribly in defending the perimeter.

Thrilling late come back by Texas Tech, but of course related to my first words above, Arkansas has to be gutted.

They definitely weren’t living right OFF the court
