My favorite time of year and favorite sporting event. Looking forward to upsets.
Is there any way that both teams could lose? On one hand you have Texas, an SEC team, and on the other hand you have a team coached by Sean Miller.
ugh, as much as I think Miller is despicable and slimy, Iâd still rather have a TU loss.
I cancelled my cable about a month ago, so this will be the first year where I wonât be able to watch any games. Will just be following scores on my phone, I guess.
Got my brackets filled out.
Let the games begin!
CBS will have games (over the air). At least 1 during each âblockâ and they will likely do look ins to other games going on at the same time.
YupâŚhad an HD outdoor antenna installed a few years ago. It works great and looks pretty unobtrusive.
Call me weird, but I just havenât been able to get into the tournament like I used to. With Utah not being a factor in so long, itâs less interesting to me. That run from 1991-2005 was such a great ride. You knew that not only was Utah going to be a part of it, but they were going to win a game or two (or more). Hopefully Jensen can get the Utes back with regularity. No invites for nine years and three in the last 19 is unacceptable.
Could you screen share to your TV from the CBS Sports app?
Donât look now but Alabama St seems to want to the the guys who blow up 95% of the brackets.
Then Auburn goes on a 9-0 run to get cushion at half. I love these four days.
Always seems there are 16 and 15 seeds that can keep up for a half. Either the higher seeded team wakes up and realizes they are entitled to nothing, or adjustments are made at halftime. Sometimes these lower autobids have some sort of system or nuance that needs to be figured out or experienced players that play as a team. Or, the higher seed team realize their coach knew what they were talking about and they have to be disciplined in their approach and canât just blow them out with talent alone.
Kind of a bland opening day (UC San Diego gave Michigan a great battle though)
Hopefully get more excitement today
I watched some of the Saturday & Sunday games, since the G-kids brought home some bug and I subsequently needed to hold down the couch.
Watched some of BYUâs game. Previously, I really didnât have an opinion on their new coach - besides being amused at his hideous hair style thing, or whatever itâs called. (If it doesnât yet have a name, may I suggest âConfusionâ.)
But after watching Kevin Young get animated with the officials⌠that dude has a world-class weasel face. If somebody told me he ate through the neighborâs fiber, I would believe it. Add a touch of foam around the mouth - time to call animal control!
Also, I have no idea why he would wear yoga pants to a ball game. No idea.
I havenât watched much, but it doesnât look like the most intriguing tournament ever. There are no mid-majors left and only one double-digit seed, that being Calipariâs Arkansas team, so not really a big Cinderella.
I really, really, really hope BYU loses on Thursday. I couldnât stomach them getting to the Elite 8. I canât imagine they would beat Duke to get to the Final 4. That would be tough to swallow. But yeah, Young is a world-class dweeb.
His interviews are so awkward. He contorts his face all weird. He also has such a whiny face during the game because all calls are wrong. Perfect fit.
Every team left is from the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, and ACC.
Not an exciting tourney for those of us who love to see huge upsets (really wish CSU could have won). I fear the gap between upper and lower teams may be growing and the $$$$ they have available to spend on quality athletes could make it very challenging for mid-majors to build a competitive team.
A Hurley being a Hurley.
For the next couple of hours weâre all Bama fans. Amiright?
This is one of those âdo you want to be electrocuted or hangedâ scenarios.
