Costco sells pretty good chowders. ![]()
My wife actually makes a really good chowder. Probably the best Iāve had.
Costco does some really good stuff. You canāt beat those $5 whole roast chickens. We get one practically every time we go. I also like those roll-ups that they make.
I make a good chowder. I just donāt have a place to find sourdough bread bowls.
Trust me when I tell you this, itās not just you.
+1. Iāve always been wildly unimpressed with Market Street.
Plus, chowder of any type is justā¦blech.
Market Street used to be really good, but as the owners split and they expanded locations it definitely became less amazing.
If I was on death row (for killing a sworn Ute enemy like Royce Olney), my last meal would be from Market Street. Sourdough bread, clam chowder(which is the best Iāve ever had), and halibut oscar style with extra bearnaise sauce, and some chilled key lime pie for dessert.

So, are all these posts planning for dinner for the championship game tonight? I didnāt know the 2024 NCAA tournament was a food playoff
For all the game watching I plan to be doing it may as well be a food playoff.
Some guy with tired arms posted something about Buffalo Wild Wings and it just took off from there. We are easily distracā¦SQUIRREL!
Clam chowder has beef? Who wouldāve thunk it? LOL
I use pork (bacon) in mine with the clams. I also caramelize my onions with the bacon before adding them to the chowder. Instead of milk, I use sour cream.
Pork/bacon makes sense, of course. Makes it that much more tasty.
Boiled husky meat could be tasty, but havenāt tried
Your stuff always sounds so good.
lol. Alabamaās coach just turned down the UK Hoops coaching job and the Wildcat fans are not taking it well.
You canāt win (enough) at Kentucky. They remind of Notre Dame fans in the 70ās. There was an article in 1978 talking about how the fans were up in arms because they hadnāt won a title since 1977.
