Screenshots will not work for most ticket platforms- they usually have a security feature updating the QR every few minutes. I saved this year’s Rose Bowl tickets to my google wallet. One click, easy peasy and nothing to worry about.

Yep. Learned this a long time ago. It’s the smart way to do it. I was just confused because having bought my Rose Bowl tickets (and a few for friends) I was able to use the Ticketmaster website to transfer others’ tickets ot them, but I could not download my own tickets to my phone. That’s different4 from the Utah tickets site. So now I have the Rose Bowl app, which is fine.
I have two seats in the Utah section that I bought for someone else who now can’t use them. The seats are in Section 9-H, Row 8, Seats 101 and 102. They are $185 seats (my friends wanted those). I’ll sell them for that amount. If you’re interested send me a board mail.
Weird. I used the ticketmaster website on my phone to download and transfer my tickets to my Google wallet. Sent the other one to my son as well. Super easy.

Maybe I just missed something. Did you get your tickets from the Crimson Club? I did, but I had to go to the Rose Bowl website to transfer them. When I tried to download them to my phone from the same website, I was told I had to use the Rose Bowl app. Not a problem, because I already had the app. Just seems weird. Some of the people who I bought tickets for didn’t have the app, so I had to tell them to get it.
I don’t have an Apple phone but there’s an equivalent wallet for Pixel and Google devices as well.
I used mine for a concert and at the time was anxious enough that I went to Will Call for physical tickets the day before the show, but they worked fine on the phone
Well, you’ve exposed me. I’m not a big concert/game guy. I do that for my plane tickets. Ha ha.

Yes. They are Crimson Club tickets.
Well then, I was misled, doggone it! Maybe I’ll write a nasty letter to someone about this.
There were several posts in a different thread, right after the crimson club tickets were sold on this topic. I purchased mine through the crimson club, in the initial offering, level 5, and the Ticketmaster account linked to my crimson club membership would not allow me to manage tickets (transfer, sell, download, etc). I called the U and was told that they were required to transfer the tickets to the rose bowl app, and only then could I manage them.
I waited a little more than a week, having tried multiple times to transfer them in ticketmaster, which I never could do. Eventually, they showed up in (my updated) rose bowl app, and I was able to transfer them.
I can’t comment on whether other people had a different experience, it’s possible, particularly if their tickets were purchased in the second allotment. However, I was explicitly, and empathetically told by the crimson club office that my experience was what everyone purchasing tickets from the U should expect.

It wasn’t a huge irritant but it was confusing and it caused me to lose valuable minutes that I could have devoted to Amazon Prime or Netflix.
This is a little surprising, and I’m a bit skeptical. I looked at a few other such rankings and Utah was not even mentioned. I suspect that the basis for determining value is what produces varying results.

Now let’s get ready to cheer on becoming the last team to win a Rose Bowl; as next year if we win the PAC 12 and don’t make the CFP, we will be playing in the Aspercreme West Hollywood Crumble Cake Bowl to be played in Juarez…maybe Tijuana.
