It looks like the only P5 programs offering are Utah and ASU.
I donât think he has an offer from the Utes yet. He would have tweeted it if he got an offer. Note the heading says offers and interest! I think it means the Utes have been in contact.
Ben Gold (see above) has committed to Marquette. Cross him off our list.
Have we actually landed ANYONE yet?
Be careful voicing your concern or youâll be labeled as not being a true fan, but no, we havenât landed anything significant.
I remember years ago a thread about panic picks. Someone got really uppity and stated, âhe didnât need to pick up that panic pick, there are PLENTY of good players leftâ. As I recall, we didnât get any of those PLENTY (even though there werenât PLENTY)
Latest on Guillermo Diaz (see above).
Interesting . Would you say this is a typical offer list for a 4 star senior recruit?
He is a 6â8" 225lb guy who plays center. Iâm guessing that he has not played a lot of basketball and has limited skills but with a good body and athleticism.
He just got bumped up to a 4 star. Athletic rim protector. Offense will need some work. Hopefully would be a diamond in the rough. High motor, long athlete. Also a 6â8 center is not what the big boys are looking for.
Utes have been in touch with 3-star 2022 6â PG Jordan Pope out of Oakland.
He has offers from Oregon State, UC Riverside, University of San Francisco, the University of Montana, New Mexico, Wichita State and Nevada.
This just popped up on Twitter.
Ute commit Wilguens Exacte is on his official visit, and will be at the game tonight.
NOTE: Klintman is a 2022 kid, so these posts should be in the 2021-22 thread.
FYI Klintman is a 6â9" Swedish SF. Heâs very agile for his size, and considered one of the top Europeans in this class. He was heavily recruited by the Utes prior staff, but eventually committed to Maryland. He decommitted in January, and the Utes have jumped back in.
In addition: Utes have been in contact with UNLV grad transfer 6â3" PG Marvin Coleman.
