2021-2022 Recruiting

6’7 wing from Califronia. Has 7 offers from low D1. Looks to be a rising prospect.

Both Pohto and Turner are class of 2021.

2022 6’9 217 PF from CO

Good get if he does commit to Utah. He’s also got offers from USU, TCU, Wake Forest and Texas Tech.

Collin Chandler offers so far:

He’s a mission first kid from a hard core utah family. I don’t think it matters what happens this year. If utah can right the ship while he’s on his mission, they have a better chance than anyone on that list to get his final commitment.

Always hate to go up against Stanford. Basketball is a head count sport so how do recruit against a free Stanford education. It’s not as if any team on that list is going to the final four anytime soon.

He’s just a local kid. No big deal.

6’4 pg from WI 2023

Just scrounged through my social media and gathered the following bits of Class of 2022 recruiting news from June:

New staff has re-offered Zach Keller, a 6’9" C from Littleton CO.

Langston Reynolds, a 6’4" CG out of Denver took an unofficial visit.

Milos Uzan, a 4-star PG from Vegas plans a visit in September.

Collin Chandler, a 4-star SG from Farmington took an unofficial visit.

Jeremiah Nyarko, a 6’9" F out of California just took an official visit.

Anyone have anything else for 2022?

JaQualon Roberts 23’ - SG/SF/PF - 6’8- 195lbs from IN, took a visit a few weeks back.

He looks like a pretty good talent.

Thanks to RunninUte for the info!

My post from yesterday was about 2022 recruits.

Posey, Crocker-Johnson, and Roberts are 2023.

Davis is 2024.

I found the following additional recruits for 2023:
PG Kyan Evans out of Missouri.
CG Finley Bizjack from TX
PG Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn out of Real Salt Lake Academy. 5-stars! From Indiana.
SG Jack Janicki from Minnesota
F Nolan Winter from Minnesota
PG Braylen Blue from WI (see above)

Clearly Smith is casting a wide net.
