Saw this on twitter, shared by @AJCrowley42 (who, btw, is rolling out a Runnin’ Utes themed podcast soon- something to follow/support!)
This is the son of former NFL linebacker Randall Godfrey. Earlier this spring it was mentioned that the college coach he is closest to is Tim Morris. Sounds like Craig Smith has also made a big impression. I dont think he has a formal offer yet, but he is a player to watch.
Seen on twitter:
Utes have called Jaxon Edwards, a 2022 6’6" SG out of Indiana.
Let the Jaxon jokes begin!
Seen 3 times on twitter today:
Ute have been in contact with 2022 PG Austin Nunez out of San Antonio.
He now has offers from Arizona and Oregon… I’m guessing this is only the beginning.
Looks like he just took an official to Arizona.
He is supposedly a mission kid. Interesting to see how some of these other schools will deal with that.
Yup. Mission first kid. Stanford is going to be tough to beat.
Utes have been in contact with class of 2022 Maximus Nelson, a 6’8" PF, from Appleton, Wisconsin
He recently had a big showing at an Under Armour camp and is starting to get offers.
According to article, Utah has shown interest.
From twitter:
Utes have reached out to 2022 SG Josh Dix from Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Would be a great get!
From twitter: Utes have called Braden Appelhans, a 6’6" SG from Missouri.
Keller would be a good recruit for utah.
Utes make the final 6 for 2022 3-star 6’7" PF Robert Jennings out of Desoto TX.
Much like the Zack Keller situation, this top 6 appears to be a top 3. The difference is that we seem to be in the top 3 with Keller and not with Mr Jennings.
Another top 6! Would be a fantastic get for the Utes. Some steep competition.
He’s Stanford’s to lose. Nobody in the state of Utah should get there hopes up.
