Ive had Sling on and off for years and I have never had any issue with it. Its been fantastic. If ESPN Unlimited hadn’t come out this year, I would have signed up for Sling again and done what Rocker talked about and flipped between the packages.
I’ve used Sling in the past ftom Sept to March. If I recall you have to bundle the orange and blue packages. I think its around $75 a month. It worked fine, but I’m thinking of switching to ESPN unlimited.
From what I can tell you can get ESPN Unlimited for $29.99 a month and add the Fox Networks or NFL Network which includes RedZone for $10 more. I dont think they have an option for ESPN plus Fox plus NFL Redzone. That would make too much sense.
Thought I had landed on using Fubo. Went to sign up today and found out that while their base package is $85/month (after a discounted 30-day trial), there is an additional $16/month (that they don’t mention anywhere until you actually go to sign up for a package) that they add on which covers “access to local NBA, NHL, and MLB teams”. I don’t care about any of those, but it’s not an option that you can de-select…it automatically gets added to any package.
So their $55 one month trial effectively doubles in price after that point. Yeah…no thanks.
Signed up for a YoutubeTV trial instead, so we’ll see how that goes this weekend.
I have Youtube TV. The only issue with it presently is their dispute with Fox.
Just looked, it’s been solved. So you will get Fox 13, BTN, FS1 and FS2, but unfortunately you will also get Faux News. But then, you’re smart enough to change channels, which is something their viewers don’t seem to understand.
Also learned that Fubo does not carry TNT or TBS, which would have blocked out some other games this year as well.
