I love to watch them play -
Those tightly muscled butts and legs
On an awesome autumn day;
How fluidly and gracefully
They dance across the green -
Such elegant contenders play
The best I’ve ever seen;
Some people think I’m crazy
The way I love the game -

I can see in some respects that I should have been more specific. Let’s talk about least intimidating mascots that are actually supposed to strike fear or respect from the opponent.
I get the banana slugs and boll weevils, but I’m thinking more of something like Horned Frogs.
The daring, fearless buckeye. Edited: I think he’s supposed to be fearless, not fearful. But it’s a buckeye, so who knows.
