Great story in the Trib today on West High football.
Solovi is a gem. He makes a huge difference in the lives of the kids he coaches. My son has been one of his assistants for three years now. I’ve met a few of the players and they are really good at heart. They’re placing a lot of them at colleges, too. A couple of years back they lost their first round playoff game to Corner Canyon. Several of the players thought that meant classes on Monday didn’t matter. Tuesday Solovi made sure they learned that was not the case. It’s a great story. Looking forward to watching their game tomorrow at RES.
