Utes @ Zoobs

Well I was expecting to be able to consider going to bed by halftime but the game is pretty tight. Zoobs got lucky with a 3 at the buzzer to take a 4 pt lead. Refs letting them play for the most part. G. Madsen going 1-6 hasn’t helped. He needs to get off the mark if we have a chance.

Odds of having to watch past the 12 minute media TO seem to be 50/50.

Pretty poor start to the 2nd half. Butterfingers everywhere.

Hanging on the rim? Really?

I’m the first guy that thinks that should be called more, but be consistent. That was a horrible call.

Not looking all that good now. We can’t get good looks and they are getting them and making them. 54-41 now. They’ve outscored us 20 to 9, I think. Looks like this game is close to over.

Then Gabe hits a trey. Maybe I should just shut up.

Especially after Cuba did pretty much exactly the same thing a couple of minutes earlier.

That moving screen call on Lovering was a poster child for inconsistency as well. Definitely T worthy.

Looks like this one is over. BYU’s defense has been excellent, and we can’t shoot to save our lives this half.

One thing this team does well: when they are having trouble making baskets they resort to taking low percentage shots to try to make up for it. :man_facepalming:t3:

Looks like coaching to me.

Being picked last and getting the 11th seed in a 16 team league… I sincerely appreciate the effort.

It got out of hand, but they’re still fighting. I respect that.

Can’t fault the effort. Jensen is coming and hopefully bringing in better players.

On another note, Gabe firing up 14 3-pointers is ridiculous.

At least they made it a game for a while, and didn’t get run out of the gym. Well, we will likely be one and done at the conference tourney.

Yeah, the first 19 minutes were OK. Then Utah gave up seven quick points, and that pretty much was the end.

He slapped the backboard, Automatic T in the rules

That was stupid on Wahlin’s part. This isn’t YMCA pickup ball.

If you say so. Looked to me like the same thing Keba did earlier in the game. (I don’t have video of ether dunk.) Also, it looked like Wahlin was trying to save himself from a dangerous fall. But if that’s the rule and that’s what Wahlin did, and Keba didn’t also do it, so be it. Besides, that T was the least of Utah’s problems last night.
