Men’s first run complete, women to start at 10:30 MT
First place, and Maddy Hoffman, the Ute’s defending NCAA women’s slalom and giant slalom champion is not even competing in these events. I believe she is in Europe competing in FIS World Cup competition. Maybe she is completing her UU course work remotely. I’m assuming she will attend the NCAA championships at Steamboat Springs, CO, March 6-9. I’ve made my travel reservations already for the event. Fortunately my IKON pass includes 5 days at Steamboat.

Rats. My sister’s “cabin” in Steamboat is still in the middle of remodeling so I can’t finagle a free place to stay. I have an IKON too so it would have made for a great trip.

Your four consecutive NCAA champion Utah Ski Team video production (2:31) of last weeks alpine competition at Utah Olympic Park, includes a couple U offensive lineman recruits jogging down the middle of the slalom course halfway thru the video.
