SALT LAKE CITY – Bella Woods registered the first goal of her Utah career and Kasey Wardle collected four saves, three of which came in the second half, as the University of Utah women’s soccer team began the 2023 season with a 1-1 draw against the N.C. State Wolfpack on Thursday evening at the Dail Soccer Field/Track Complex in Raleigh, N.C.

Nice job Bella she and my daughter played for Sparta. My daughter as a Junior made varsity as a freshman. But rehabbed this year after blowing her knee.
Unfortunately they went separate directions when US national team player Amy Lepelbit got my daughter to switch to her team and Avalanche

Coach Nakada seems to be trying to get the soccer program built up to a respectable level. He had done a great job as an assistant at Stanford. I sure hope he can something at the U.
