Utah vs Colorado MBB

Yeah I couldn’t help but think the same thing. One thing we consistently suck at though as beating a press. Methinks that will come back to haunt us.

lol - well played, amigo! Seriously.

I was kind of “iffy” about using that term, actually. But if I didn’t, I wouldn’t have got this nice giggle later.

Go Utes!!!

Gently dipping into the pet peeves vibe just a little - respecting that for some people he’s a 6-11" walking, talking continuous stream of pet peeves - how about one of Bill Walton’s originals in the PAC-12 era:

And the Utes push the Buffaloes off a cliff!

Prolly has something to do with their opponents. Five of Utah’s seven losses are in Quad 1 games (vs Houston, St. John’s, @ Arizona, @ Washington State, @ Washington). Their only two non-Quad 1 losses are Q2 games @ ASU and @ Stanford. They still have five more road games, but only two right now are Quad 1 or 2 (@ Colorado and @ Oregon). I think Utah finally breaks through and gets their first conference road win @ USC, who has a losing overall record and is just 6-5 at home. That being said, every team in the Pac-12 has a winning record at home this season. It’s insanely hard to win on the road.

Three PAC 12 teams are undefeated at home–Utah, Arizona, and Colorado. Oregon is 11-1, only loss to Arizona. Even Oregon State is 11-2. WSU is 11-1.

I think the road/home disparity is true for a number of PAC schools, although none as glaring as the Utes. With roadies at USC/UCLA, CU and Beaver/Ducks, i question whether the Utes will break through.

Did anyone else notice that BC was on the bench for several possessions down the stretch when CU was fouling?
