“This is one of the best days we’ve ever had at the Pac-12 Championships,” said head diving coach Richard Marschner. "Emilia and Kat were excellent all day and Emilia topped it off with our first women’s Pac-12 Championship in swimming and diving. It’s an exhilarating experience to see it all come together. This conference is so hard and so deep and we are leaving the conference as one of the best, if ot the best team in the conference.

Nilsson Garip made history, becoming the first member of the University of Utah swimming and diving team to win two Pac-12 Championships, earning a first-place finish in the women’s 3m on Friday.
