The Utes are in Pullman tonight to take on a stout Wazzu team that posts a 13-6 record with a 4-4 record in conference play and a 9-1 home record. In their last matchup with WSU the Utes outlasted the Cougars behind Gabe Madsen’s 20 points, 80-58 (I believe the final score does not indicate the actual close nature of that particular game). Utah comes in with a top 25 net ranking while Wazzu is 57, so this is a quadrant 1 matchup. The consensus seems to be that Utah needs to split this road trip in the PNW. This game is a pick ‘em with the spread currently at -1.5 for Wazzu.
Time to take from the rich to give to the needy because we really need a road win.
