I’m re-upping my FUBO on the 3rd. It sure is nice to be able to pause subscriptions.
I read somewhere else the 14th.
I understand that the Pac-12 is back together.
Aaaaaaand this is the reason why you give off the ZOOB vibe. I know I don’t take you seriously.
Some cool recognition for Jackson Bennee.
Not sure where to put this and didn’t want to start a new discussion. How many of you knew that the Utes had the 7th biggest scoreboard in the NCAA? I did not. I found it in an article at the Athletic about Illinois and their new gargantuan beast.

Does this count as scoreboard smack?
Scoreboard!
Some teams may wish those were smaller and harder to read, given their team. ![]()
Yes!
That made me laugh pretty hard, I wasn’t even thinking about that twist.

I hope you get elleventy-3 thousand stars
Got my football tickets. Went up to the ticket office and had them printed. Get off my lawn!
They had one kid helping all the people in line. There were two people sitting at other windows with a “closed” sign in front of their window. Seems pretty typical.
One other thing you might need to keep in mind. If you need any assistance from your ticket rep, all of their phones say call the ticket office. When you call the ticket office you get a recording that says wait for the next available rep and then after a few minutes it says call back later and hangs up. Happened a few times to me today. I asked the kid that was actually waiting on people at the ticket office and he said all the reps have been fired and the replacements won’t happen until next week when whoever the hell is running the athletic department transitions in.
So, good luck if you need help.
Hope the tailgate passes aren’t in some kind of limbo. When I asked about those the kid went in the back and checked and came back and said: "they will be mailed in the ‘near future’. Whatever that means. The Cretaceous Period was in the near future after the Jurassic Period.
Get off my lawn.
I got an email Friday at 5:00 PM that tickets were supposed to be issued that day, but my account was not paid up. Which is not true. I called just after 10:00 AM this morning when the ticket office opened up. I waited on hold for 45 minutes. A gal finally picked up and I could tell she was exhausted. I told her about the email. She responded that she “bet I had the same problem as everyone else today.” She looked up my account and confirmed. She said their computer system for whatever reason added fees to many accounts, making them not paid up. They said they would have to audit all of the accounts affected to see if the fees are legit or not and then call me back. Not going to be a fun process for them.
Are we talking about the CC concierges, or just another brutal vicious mass firing off previous Ticket Office staff due to selling our souls to the PE group?
One thing is for sure, eye contact and conscious engagement seem to be lost behaviors of customer service.
The mass firings I assume.
I didn’t have any memory of this game, but I just got through watching last year’s Utah vs. Kansas State game on ESPNU. I was as nervous as I probably was just watching it today. What a great comeback that game was.
Now I am jonesing a bit for a live game.
Just when you thought you were done with preseason polls, here is another one!
This is paywalled, but it was interesting to see Utah on the list of teams with the least experienced players. We came in at #9.
