I hate them that late, but I’ll be there. What it will do, however, is really undermine the “White Out” theme for the game. Seriously, who has a closet with all white Utah outwear in it? They just made their own promotion irrelevant.

Yes, I hate it. But it might be an advantage when playing teams from central or eastern time zones. 8:15 for us is 9 or 10:15 for those teams.

Which is why I regularly have a Sunday “Breakfast with the Utes”. I used to stay up, but decided, the game is just as exciting for me at 9am ET on Sunday as it is at 11pm ET Saturday.

I posted the other day that Utah has won 16 of its last 18 games (including 10 in a row now). What’s even more impressive is that 15 of those 16 wins have come by at least 10 points. That’s quite eye-opening. The only single-digit win in that span was the 51-47 thriller over KSU last season in teh home finale. We could take it a step further and say that 14 of those 16 wins were by at least 14 points and 12 of those 16 wins were by 20 points or more.

I saw the last 5 minutes of BYU-TCU. Is a 17-10 BYU win impressive? Of what I saw, their defense looked sharp.
