Jaylon Tyson, the kid who transfered to Cal from Texas Tech (and was at Texas before that), just got his waiver approved. Similar situation to Smith, in that his last HC left.
Smith would also help address some inevitable matchup problems.
You’d think people would have worked a little harder and approved these transfers before the season started.
