There was someone that turned themself into a pile of steaming rhino sh!t ?
It was an attempt 330. No one can do rhino sh!t like the master of pure purulent waste of tissue.
Ditto on both counts!
And yes, that was a nice lunch, great company, and a particularly nice view of the mountains to the southeast. Thanks for the idea and location suggestion @Ute_With_Dogs.
Yeah, go jam out with him at the crossroads ![]()
sorry my day got stupid busy and I couldn’t crawl out of the HCI dungeon.
We’ll plan another day ![]()
We missed @LAUte as well, hopefully next time ![]()
Yeah, what the heck LA? I’m starting to think LA is a phantom.
I live in far away Sanpete County. It’s about 100 miles. I don’t mind making the drive at all, but you guys need to schedule one of these when I can make it. What’s the matter with you guys anyway?
OK, you all know I was just kidding. I really will come to the next one. Life is slowing down for me as I ease into retirement land. I need to be in Salt Lake on April 24 in the evening, and could just get there early and have a nice lunch with you all. I’d feel better about everything and would welcome the relief from your apparent Anti-Sanpete Bias.l
Hope to see you at the next one. Such a fun group ![]()
Some would say..a lot. ![]()
Big problem, it sounds like, is that we plan these lunches without enough advance notice for someone to arrance to make it from Sanpete County. Perhap we can fix that by scheduling earlier.
Or,
I’ve traveled to several of the beautiful cites in San Pete County many times over the last several decades, and always make it a point to stop for lunch at one of two historic local hamburger joints:
The Purple Turtle in Pleasant Grove, or
The Little Acorn, near the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon (on the old highway).
We could plan a Saturday lunch (in consideration of those who are still working) at one of these places, carpool from SLC, and LA can met us.
(My personal preference is the Little Acorn, but you have to enjoy a cheeseburger and fries at each place sometime in your life.)
It will be easier for me to get to Salt Lake in the future because I’m about to retire. Also, because there are no barbers in Saint Pete County that I can find, I come to Salt Lake for a haircut. So I can just schedule a haircut on a day when UF.N lunch is set. I always want to look as sharp as I can when I’m with you guys.
Wait. I was at the last lunch. So…
I was at the last lunch, and the cafeteria let me in.
Maybe there’s a “Gray Fox” cut waiting for you down there.
